Lesson 1
Don't park your tractors less than 200yds of a county road. Some a**hole whitetrash piece of $hit decided to shoot my tractor. Luckily it was just the condenser and didn't get the intercooler or radiator.
This tractor is my baby.

The grill.

You really wonder how some peoples thought processes work. pretty sure tha last thing I am thinking about when I see a tractor is that I wan't to shoot it. Usually I want to drive it. So if you do leave i there again, make sure to lock the doors and take the key!!!:thumb:

We had 3 complete sets of JD tools jacked from an 8220, 8430 and 9770 combine last Halloween. Last time we get in a hurry to leave a field at night without locking the toolboxes in the cabs or park near a road

At night we generally try and park 100 yards off the road and around Halloween we'll park next to a house somewhere or take stuff back to where it will be safe. Worse we've had was the combines and grain cart got toilet papered.

I had one of ours parked right next to the road for a couple days but its because my house is 20 yards from the county road.

Well come to find out the bullet hit about 6 of the condenser tubes and it's totally trashed. So $500 and 5-6 days and I can get back after it.

I put a micrometer on the bullet and it's a .40 cal. A buddy gave me the idea to try and find the case on the road. But I first noticed the oil on the grill about a week ago(thought it was just were I had gotten carried away with the big blowgun). So if I was to find I doubt it would still have the prints on it. Even though we have decided to not call the sheriffs dept. Seeing as the Podunk county only has maybe 4 sheriffs working at a time and they need to focus on more serious issues at hand.

Kinda lucky they only shot it once and didn't empty the mag in it. It could've been alot worse.

Sorry bout your tractor. We had someone shoot a John Deere power unit last year.

I was gonna say 40 s&w when I saw your picture.

That's a hell of a lob shot if it truly was from 200 yards. It must have been from a fair distance to only do that amount of damage that it did. From closer the .40 would have made it to the block, so maybe it was a lucky long range hit.

That really sucks.

Well got her back together and she is now parked 400yds from the road with the front pointed away from the road. One other thing is that the R-134 this thing takes about broke us lol. One can of oil and 6 cans of 134. Most of our tractors only take about 3-4 cans tops. Not this big sumbiotch.
