 I see this as a bad thing. I can hear the bitching now :( Because 4x4's will tear of the track.

I'm sure its cheaper for the NHRDA to have a split event which would be my guess is the reason

Actually this should be a good thing. They are joining us not us joining them. We shared with a bunch of dragsters in Edmonton and it turned out great. We should have much better track prep and more of a good how for the specatators. :thumb::thumb:

I'm excited about it to be honest, ProMods are the coolest things on asphalt. Tons of power, short wheelbases, and not enough tire. Things are a riot to watch.

Come on the NHRDA is so well organized, I see this working out great. Sharing the track is a great idea when you're too poor to rent it out by yourself. I will make sure to be there.

Im sure NHRDA has it covered, besides if you cant run/have fun with the pro mods, you shouldent be at the track...Stop crying and go race.

It's not about crying. Lightweight cars on slicks need rubber on the track. We have raced both kinds of vehicles, heavy 4x4's on street tires, and tube chassis cars. The heavy 4x4's can tear the rubber right off the start line and still run safe and fast. The light cars on slicks can get dangerous without the rubber.

Ideally, there won't be any issues. But if you hear the Pro Mod racers complain, they do have a legitimate concern about track conditions.

As far as our trucks go, heck, we can run in dirt... :D

Pro mod cars are bad. Their excited about joining us and we should be too. Their season opener got cancelled due to some bad weather here in ca and asked to join us at our season opener. If you enjoy drag racing you don't want to miss this race. These guys are not joke. Gonna be cool having them join us.

They may have a little more issues with traction but with proper track prep it shouldn't be an issue.

It should be a great event. One thing we need to watch is the sportsman series, trucks need to be clean clean clean and hopefully not many have big all terrian tires. One thing that helps is if the big slow trucks on all terrian tires don't stage in the groove but straddle it so it doesn't tear up the starting line. The Pro mods are joining us. So it's our track and I really doubt they will have any problems with up.

Kat are you and Pat coming or not?

That will be good, runnng in sportman I assume, or have you up'ed it a bit to run in the super diesel 11.90 class?

Pat is going to drag race and I'm going sled pull :driving: Wendy doesn't have enough mod's to run 11.90 class.
