Factory tow mirror question

I'm trying to find a definitive answer. I've been searching on google. Will the factory extending mirrors work correctly with my truck. 03 LS model non telescoping mirrors with the blinker. I want the factory look. I don't like the aftermarket ones

Best I found is they may work by changing the door switch also and possibly flashing ecm.

Has anyone on here done this successfully. I want them to work just like factory.

IIRC, they are plug and play for turn signal, heat and mirror adjustment. You've got to get the BCM (or DDM and PDM -- I forget which) reprogrammed for the power extend to work.
If you already have the mirrors, the easiest thing to do is plug the drivers mirror in and see what works and what doesnt. Its been a long time since I last saw this question.
