I just finished adding factory keyless entry with remote start. The keyless entry part is working flawlessly, but the remote start is having problems. You can hit the lock button and hold down the start button until the lights flash, but after the lift pump runs for a couple of seconds, it shuts off without even attempting to turn over. There are no DTCs and the signal for hood latch is showing it is closed. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing the problem?

Is your key in ignition?
LOL may sound like a stupid question but I always have my fob separate from key and just leave key in ignition a lot ( I know that's not real smart) and if the key is fully in all the way it won't remote start. Lights just blink.. Probably not your problem though.
