So I've had a run in before with this 2000's model trans am. this guy was sayin it is a factory freak and that no diesel could touch it before. Last time I just had a built trans, tuning and lift pump. We lined up and I didn't do any special launch because i thought it would be no problem at all , and went on the third honk. he prolly put 2 links on me at the end. So he was running his mouth around town sayin he put 8 links on me blah blah blah. Well then I put the 50% overs in and a s464. Well he wanted to race again and said it didn't matter what I did he would still walk me and wanted to run for 50 bucks. So I agreed and went over to a friends in town dropped the front end and we went and lined up. I get there and he is doing a huge John force burnout and has his gf and friend watching along with one of my friends. So I locked it in 4wd and staged up to just 5psi and we took off and I immediately put 2 on him and had 6 on him by the end of track. Haha he did the ol ricer fly by and we met back in town and he said he had a bad launch but wouldn't of been able to catch me even if he had launched good and he was impressed.

What model was it? A kid at school had a Firehawk with an auto and it scooted pretty good, he beat a guy with a WS6/6spd, maybe the other guy couldn't shift

My 98 with exhaust, intake and shifter ran 13.3 at 105 on street tires. He might get a high 12 on a perfect track with a WS6 but that would not be the norm.
