Factory cp3 Pump

I think I might of fried the factory cp3 pump code p0087 comes on no sooner then when I add a low load to it I took the power pup out and unhooked the ppe duramizer and im shimmed at .100 on the fuel valvecranks over changed fuel filter and it started easier but now takin longer and longer to start. does anyone modifi sorry for spelling the cp3 inside the block to flow more. also was wondering if anyone had a extra fuel valve that has not been shimmed did not want to take in to shop with the shimmed valve
