Factory boost sensor with 40-94

I was wondering if it would be possible to use the facotry boost sensor with a 40-94 ether on the turbo itseself or somwhere like where traditnoal boost pick up would go any thoughts ?

You will go past the range of the sensor IIRC, which is a 1-4.5v sensor. Datalog MAP sensor voltage and tell me what it is at IDLE, and at 15 PSI boost (or 30PSI) and I will tell you what the LMM caps at.

Your factory boost sensor in the pressure side of the intake track about 2' upstream of the engine. You will not alter it normally for a charger swap.

ahh ok nice so it wont evn get touched then i will log those and see wht they are i have seen boost as high as 39 psi so far dont know if tht meens any thing ?

The factory sensor should go to the low 40's, but on most trucks that won't be enough to cover the 4094.

yeah, we get 45 psi with the 4088, and the 4094 would be more

pat is there sensor tht coud replace it with a higer boost reading ?

Normally you will just run a "real" gauge that doesn't read off the OEM sensor.

Yes I know i have one of those as well i just wanted to know if possible as it would make for a cleaner look in the cab just using my insight. and not a seprate boost guage
