Fabtech Traction Bars

I did search but did not see too much mention of Fabtech traction bars. Anyone out there using those, and if so what has been your experience with them? They are a long bar, and are gusseted. I have seen some long bars bend when used in a drag-racing application, so I would certainly think the gussets on the Fabtech bars would help some. Any opinions on these?

they do not help with ride quality, they just minimize axle wrap and wheel hop.

theyre are nicer set ups out there and if you are buying new i would rethink your options. JMO

Already bought these, installing them this week, so too late to rethink options, although I appreciate the feedback. I just thought the gusseted design would help strengthem them further as I have heard of the "long bar" style getting damaged at the drag strip, although the long-bars are ideal for sled pulling.

Not to sound like a super noob but will they help the ride quality? Are they any bennefit to a stock height truck?

They certainly will not help the ride quality. They will actually hurt the ride quality, as they limit suspension travel.

no they dont. single bushing ended bars will limit articulation to a point but will not limit actual wheel travel. The only reason you may have seen some bars bend is either because they were made out of the wrong material or they were made to have a little give in them and bow when under power but go back straight once off the power. the tubing those fabtech bars are made out of is thin, hence the reason for the gussets. its a cheap way to make a bar fairly strong and mass produce
