Extended cranking now no start

My truck has been having extended cranking and this morning after sitting 2 days stalled pulling out of the driveway this morning. Primed the thefilter drove fine to work. Went to lunch no problem. I go to leave work no start and will not prime.

So my truck is an 01 with 170xxx miles. I'm thinking it's the primer deal took a poop on me and need to be rebuilt. So i'm figuring by pass and run an airdog.

Is the general consesus. A little feedback befoe I fork out 500 bills for an airdog would be nice.

May be the cp3 getting weak

Take the filter housing apart one time i had friend get some trash in there and it was causing the plungers to stick open letting the fuel back to the tank

im removing the filter housing and just running as air dog 150. would the cp3 being week cause the filter to not be able to get primed

every time i have had the no start problem its been the injectors sometimes priming it would work for a while and then it just doesn't start.

i cant get the priming button to get firm thought. and i can pump the button with out opening the bleeder screw.

fml i hope its not injectors i looked up the service history on this truck and they were replaced. how do i check the injectors

Scan it and get injectors and max rail pressure checked. Sounds like an injector issue, but at least scanning it would help with diagnosis.
