Exporting trucks

I have some Aussie friends that want to import a couple of trucks. One is looking at a brand new LML and the other is looking for a used one. I am thinking on a low miles LBZ for the use on. Maybe some of you Aussie can put your 2 cents in.:roflmao: What are your emission law and what not, because the truck my get some work done before they head over.

the trucks have to be converted to right hand drive, ......i know there is more but cant remember

Ya I know about the conversion, but that is out of my hands.

i would imagine that when they are imported they would have to have some sort of emmisions tests done on them

I built an LMM for a customer over there and it was no issues. We did a turbo, trany, exhaust, intake, egr delete, tuning and I sent him home with a 600hp daily driver. He drove it to Cali and put it on the boat and took it home. It got converted to righthand drive and he is enjoying it down under!:thumb:

I sold an 08 LMM to a broker down under a couple years ago. He mentioned converting it to right hand drive on arrival, but emissions were all stock and we didn't discuss.

I've sent some stuff over, they need to be pretty much stock suspension/wheel wise. Have the pink for it and they get converted once they arrive.

Man a RHD conversion sounds like a serious pain in the butt.
