Truck was in dire need of all fluids changed except coolant, so took past couple days and got i t done. Cant go racing on old fluids.

Here's the breakdown.

7qt Mobil 1 75w90 gear lube -- $9.00/ea = $63.00
3qt Mobil 1 syn ATF ---------- $9.00/ea = $27.00
10qt Valvoline Dex/Merc ATF - $4.50/ea = $45.00
3gal Rotella T 15w40 oil ----- $16.50/ea = $49.50
ACDelco PF2232 oil filter ----------------- $10.00
Allison spin-on trans filter ---------------- $10.00
--------------------------------------------------
Total expenses ------------------------- $204.50

Really should go back this weekend and do the second half trans fluid, brake and ps fluids which will add about $65 more to the total.
These trucks are sure not cheap to maintain, are they?

That ghetto oil primer I made also worked extremely well to fill the T-case, front diff, and trans (I didnt have a long, thin funnel). Just cleaned it out between uses and all was good.

Should've added in the following, but they arent fluids. Drag racing really wears out parts fast.

2 front hubs -------- $320
Front rotors/pads --- $300
Rear rotors/pads ---- $150
Rear axle seals ------ $50

Im almost ready to get back to the track.

I'm sure all of you know this anyway,

When the crude prices go up all petroleum based products follow suit just like gas and diesel. Soon if not already prices on all goods will go up as transportation cost increase. No longer are the merchants going to consume the added cost and are or have to pass on the surcharges to the consumer.

Every freight bill I see has fuel surcharges added in ,in sucks. IF they don't get a control over this which I highly doubt they will,we're heading into a double dip recession. Between the rise in fuel, energy costs and taxes we're smothered!

Pretty ugly

I need tires for my Jeep and I can't believe the difference in prices on the same tire when I bought them.
