Exhaust housings

I got a 1.01 t6. And curious if it is equivelent to a t4 1.01 or 1.15 in reguards of lag and flow.
I all ready built a ped and uppipes and am not changing now. Just seeing what I'm in for
I would say the t6 would be more like the 1.15 in a t4. I have a 1.10 in a t6 and a t4 s400 housing and the t6 is a good bit bigger.

Big difference in volume. You can not really compare T6 AR to T4 AR. Undivided T6 will spool alot slower that the same AR in T4.
Honestly your better off just getting the T4 in 1.15 or what ever AR you want.
I ran a 1.01 divided T4 last year on my Turbonetics charger(very similar to garrett), spooled great. I also test a 1.14 undivided T4 and it would take 100ft of track before I could get it spooled. It was awesome once it lit but giving up that 100 ft was hurting me big time in overall distance.
Increased velocity. On a GT42 T4 is the way to go. The larger T4 housings can out flow the turbine wheel. So nothing gained by going T6 IMHO.
