How long of a turnaround time have most people seen when sending injectors in to Exergy?

Trying to plan a time to send them in when i wont miss the truck too much. Thinking about just going with 60%'s. This engine will get built eventually, depends on when it breaks.:woott:

Usually a week or less is what it takes for them to do injectors for me. Shipping is usually 3-4 days on top of the work.

well that is good to hear. I was thinking it would be longer than that. I could handle a week or so.

I am assuming that everyone would agree that 60's would be the way to go? Even with a stock CP3?

It depends on your end goal and be sure what that is and you will save money. 100 overs are getting more common. Don't go really big if your going to tow heavy. I have seen 100 overs much cleaner than smaller injectors also. Each set of injectors are not created equal so one set of the same size probably won't be the same as another if the same size. Just give it some serious thought as to your ultimate end goal.

Just go 100 and be done. :D

Stock cp3 will be fine until you need to bump up pulsewidth when you do a full motor build.

I'd do at least 60 over. I was running 100 over till we had to pull engine back apart. Stock cp3 would be working to keep up. they are getting great reviews on their cp3's. Exergy is fast at getting stuff turned around.

the truck is a DD and I do tow a few times a month during the summer. Not really that heavy, very rarely over 10k. Mostly I want the injectors now because my big tune pw scares me. 3325pw makes me nervous everytime I turn the knob.

End goal.... That is a tough one. I honestly thought I would be more impressed with the truck with a built trans/stock turbo. The 366 helps some.

I can afford to build it anytime it becomes a necessity, and I plan to run it until that happens. I am not going to get stupid and throw dual fuel on it and try to make it happen though.

Plan for something like an S483 with this 366 someday, or swap it out and run a 475 as a single. Would be nice to run a low 11 pass. I wont put a hp number out there as a goal, if when it gets built it isnt fast enough, I will just throw more fuel at it. I know that 60's are good for well into the 800's without going crazy with pw and timing.

for the right price i'd go 100's, but man I'd be worried about dd smoke. My 60's are very clean unless I roll in very slow with the converter unlocked at a low rpm. the smoke starts rolling. But I would say I'm pretty picky.

I know, I have been eyeing them up for the past week. Debating it....

You guys would really run 100's on a stock CP3? Tuning that would be tough I imagine.

If your running a big pulse width with 100% overs your cp3 is definitely not going to keep up. But with yours when you put 100s in it its going to drop the pulse width way down for the power level your at now. There are two things that you take into factor with cp3. How long that injectors open for and how much fuel its releasing while its open. With the short pulse width it gives the cp3 time to keep pressure up. But once you leave that injector open for double that time then it don't have a chance. My stock lb7 cp3 kept up great on my smaller tunes. But on my hot it drained the rail. That's why I went with a lbz pump. But mine are only 50%

I definitely understand the concept of tuning for bigger injectors and obviously the pw would have to get turned down about 75-80%. My question was more based on the fact that right now I have a huge amount of pw to play with, so small changes dont make much difference in power output. Figured that with the limited pump output that I woudl have the tuning would take a lot of work to get dialed in with 100's. In theory I should make the same or slightly more power with the short pulse and timing with the proper tuning for the injectors.

So lets say I will want 800hp more or less, next year, woudl you do 100's or 60's?

I have a lbz cp3 in valley, but even my 100's were fine at 1500us. Held 21k rail and ran 11.8 or so.

Most all the legit shops turn to Exergy as specialists. I have their 60 overs in my pickup and am pleased with their capabilities. It took a week and a half roughly to receive mine once they received confirmation of my order. Tunes 1-3 on my DSP are surprisingly very short on smoke, while as expected the competition tunes are not.

Going bigger would save you money in the end cause you wont have to up them again an any tuner shouldnt have to much of a problem cleaning them up since were at and below sea level in Delaware

I definitely don't want it to be obnoxiously smokey on the dd tunes. Of course the cure for that is more air:thumb:

A 1500pw big tune would be nice though.

Russ I am sending you a pm.....
