LB7: Engine overhaul kit?

Just need to find out what exactly is in this "Engine Overhaul Kit" that I found online, if it includes all gaskets for the entire top half of the engine, and how much it is.
This may be what Ive been looking for.

Alot of that stuff is reusable might be cheaper to just buy what you need

I don't see any head gaskets or bearings

I spent less than $300 on everything I needed to do my heads including the head gaskets

Thats exactly what I did. Why do you think Im asking whats in the kit? If head gaskets came with it, plus all the other topmotor gaskets, for that price, itd definitely be worth it.

Itried to buy that kit from parts direct last fall. its no longer a good # and they wont update on site. the newer kit is over $500.

The head gaskets are not in any Gm kit. You willpay over 500 for the kit then have to buy head gaskets still. For what is it that sale I can get for you. Injector seal kit for both sides is 52.00 and shipping that's all coopers oring and banjos. The manifold gaskits can be reused but if needed there 35.00 ea. The gaskets for up pipes are 10.00 ea. Water bridge cross over gaskets are about 3.25 ea. Head gaskets 96.00 ea. O rings for rear of block for adapter takes 2 there 7.80 for both. Front main seal 38.00 rear main seal 40.00 Gm gray sealer 16.50. Little odd and end oring for the oil cooler and oil pump front cover top of water pump to cross over around 30.00. There is a o-ring that goes into the front of the oil cooler they think alot of list is 39.50 it 28.00. You also need your flywheel bolt there 18.00 for the set of 8. The balancer bolt is 14.25. The new cam bolt is 11.00. If you need the intake bridge gaskets that are is that kit there 4.50 ea. Injector cup seals are 26.40 for all 16 of them. If you need the lower valve cover gasket there 35.00 ea.

So for about every gasket o-ring and seal and the bolts on the front and rear you need would run you 599.45 plus shipping. If you needed the last 2 lower gaskets for valve covers that puts you at 669.45.

I will have the prices for rings today also on STD .20 and so on and if there back ordered or not.

Thanks Henry nfor taking the time to look that up. That was EXACTLY the info I was looking for. I want going to buy that kit on Ebay, but it sure did look promising as something for us to look into thru here. Glad you cleared that up. :thumb:

your welcome sometimes you can find some dmax gasket boxes for sale on there buy it for 40 to 80 bucks and get lucky or not lol.

I can't speak for all the prices Henry quoted, but if the Injector seal kit is any indication, they are some really good prices. one injector O-ring at my locak stealer is $8! you can only buy 6.5 of them at that price (entire kit would be $128!) for the price of the entire kit from Henry.

Henry, I'll be contacting you for gaskets and such for a LBZ headswap, and probably more stuff down the road.
