Engine just shut off

Ok, I just left the parking lot of AutoZone and was at the light when all of a sudden, the engine just shuts off as if I turned off the key. I tried cranking but nothing.... I checked all fuses and all was good. I tried cranking again and it fired for a second and then shut off again immediately. I'm getting plenty of pressure, no codes... Got my girlfriend on the way with my laptop but in the meantime any suggestions would be great.

Scratch the no codes part.... EFI says the following codes...
Lost communication with FICM
CAN Bus Reset Counter Overrun
Think the FICM just shot craps on me....
Actual cranking pressure is at 3800 PSI

Hmmmmm........ Just reflashed the ecm and it fired... Fingers crossed till I get back home.

Have you washed the truck recently? A friend of mine had the same thing happen to him a few months back after I tuned his truck. He left the car wash and was driving home. Truck died at a stop light. I checked the codes with EFI and it had lost communication with the FICM. Pulled the harness off the FICM and let it air out for a few then cleared the codes. Fired right up and haven't had a problem since.

Haven't washed it but I did put water in the coolant tank about 45 minutes before I left AutoZone. I was picking up a water pump as mine was just pouring it out.
I think your on the right track though with that one. This also came to my mind yesterday after looking at the FICM and noticing the rubber plug towards the back of it was missing. Could have definitely let moisture in....
I'm glad to hear though that your buddy hasn't had any problems since.... Really can't afford to replace it.
