I have a 2004 HD 2500 chevy and have two problems I hope someone can help with. 1. I have had a BrakeSmart brake controller installed and working great for 7 years. I hooked up my trailer I pull all the time and the controller will not work when hitting the brake, but will work and apply the trailer brakes manually. I have check all the fuses and even installed another controller but it did the same thing. Need help on this one.
Second is a chirping noise coming from the pass side of the engine when at 1300 to 1500 rpms and at opperating temps. I have seen several post on this problem but no fixs. The belt and tensioner have been replaced and thier is no sign of exhaust leaks.
