engine build broke crank now no start

i need help ive checked fuel compression ecm wiring and I don't seem to have any injector pulse tech2 says every thing is good but it still wont start does start on starting fluid HELP PLEASE

Do not start with starting fluid. You could ruin the engine. When cranking does it show fuel pressure? You need approximately 2000 to fire.

My buddy's truck did this and the motor was one tooth out of time... On the tech2 it should have something that shows timing. Look at it and see what the number says while turning it over

I have had this thing to two dealers replaced ecm and checked fuel pressure checked vtd both dealers said according to their tech 2 it should run but ican unplug injectors and I get no dtc but I do for anything else I unplug but if you hook everything up you get no codes I have a injector out and hooked up and get no spray cant realy check signal because its high speed not sure how to check injector circuit

Yep, his did the same exact thing... Pretty sure u have to have a special noid light for diesel to check the pulse at the plug.

Do u not have a tech 2 handy? Or a scan tool of any sort?

I'm completely lost I have heard of several people having this same problem but none of them have replied on what they finally found to fix problem iv been trying everything for two weeks and im on my last few strands of hair please help!

I don't have a teck 2 but I do have a scanner and timming reads 0 when cranking but it read that before when cranking ive checked to make sure its timed correctly and made sure I had the right reluctor as well it just doesn't make sense

Well, our problem was the timing. It showed like -46 once it was set perfect the truck fired right up. We went through everything like you have

Who built the engine?

Are the cam and crank sensors in the correct locations?
