I have a client who wants to go fast with his 08 lmm we are thinking 600 rwhp to start.

Ats stage 6 rebuild or suncoast rebuild kit with billets shafts and flex plate
Efi live by korey Willis
Exhaust manifolds and pipes dpf delete
Egr delete
Fass fuel system
Head studs
Down pipe
Intake
Maybe nozzles or cp3 beefed up

Anything else I'm missing I don't have my list with me so I might be
Gonna be a fun job plan on pulling engine and transmission together without pulling cab (out the front):D

I'd say keep it simple
Built trans (not ATS)
Lift Pump
EGR Delete w/ LB7 up pipe
EFI Live
Turbo (twins, fixed geometry or a badass Danville 68R vgt)
Injector nozzles (40% over +)

That will be an easy 600hp with a healthy CP3. IMO no need for billet shafts, flex plate, head studs or manifolds and up pipes until he gets in built motor territory.

Do not need nozzles, cp3, manifolds, or head studs to make 600hp.
Trans- NOT purple, Tunes, fass, turbo upgrade- either compounds, or single.

Save the money on billet shafts and go with compounds

Are you ordering an already built trans? If so can't go wrong with Mike L. @ Inglewood Transmission or Suncoast

We have future plans we will be buying a kit and building ourselves we run a heavy equipment component rebuild shop and have built Alison's as well so not worried about the teams build I just need to know best clutches and stuff. This guy has a lot of money so he will want faster in the future so doing head studs and nozzles pipes no turbo (yet) deletes intake Efi live lift pump gauges I think that will get a good start on a build truck may not pull engine may pull cab with a lift still thinking gonna start ordering parts Monday:thumb:

Again....NO NEED to pull engine, cab or anything else other than trans unless you're going to build the engine now.
Listen to the guys above. This isnt our first go-around here.

Trans....do your friend a favor and have a competent Duramax-related Allison performance trans shop build the trans. There's far more to it than just "stuff", and no good builder is going to tell you their secrets. IIRC, Wade @ DDD is pretty good.

Turbo, turbo, turbo. No point even starting if he's not going to add that, b/c he'll be disappointed without it.

Turbo isn't really optional. You'll have a hell of a time getting 600 without any turbo work.
