What are some common code that trigger the eng light to come on?
Truck was running fine light came on truck is still running fine shut off start up on initial start light off within five seconds light will come on

There are dozens of diagnostics that run right after startup that can trigger a CEL. You just have to get the code read out.

I could take a random guess, but what would you do with than info? Start replacing parts? Just go have the code read, then we can help you out.
