I talked to chase and the boys from fleece on saturday at the TS Event and they were super nice and good to talk to..I ordered two sets of head studs from them today...First Diesel Performance company that took my name and number and called me on monday just like they said they would!!!!!!! That goes a long way in my book

If there was not any issues with the ARP studs then some would not be spending big dollars on the New Age ARP or going to 14mm which I do not like the idea of going to 14mm.
New age ARP are vary salty in price when you can get the same strength from an H-11 and ARP std. 14mm cost extra in machining and other concerns.... Just what we have seen.
A-1 studs isvwhich we use in all builds Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins

You have to decide on what you want to do with the truck. If you're going to run compounds and 70+ psi then you should probably spring for the good ones, but the standards IMO are plenty for the 750-800hp dmax.

Having said that Matt handwork just ran a 6.59 in the 1/8th mile at over 1000hp and 65+psi of boost.

Again just my opinion.

A-1 H11 studs 240 ksi
ARP 625 New Age 260ksi

They are not the same strength.

ARP 14mm is stronger then any 12mm stud by a sizable margin.

I think if your popping gaskets with the standard ARP's then you have other things to consider to be the cause ( not always ), the standard ARP's have held fine in several big boost trucks . IMOP the cost difference is so much extra that it is worth risking the standard studs and if they dont hold then spend the extra coin , my $ says they hold in 90% of the builds out there especially if the truck is tuned right .
