Electronic PPE boost controller...

So how do you guys feel about the PPE electronic boost controller? How many of you have actually used it? Can you really just turn up the boost to like 40 psi I think is what it said? Also, if I have a PPE programer already, will do it already? I know thats a lot of questions, but it saves starting several different threads.:dontknow:

It works great for towing helps raise boost and drop egts. Just have to play it safe and not over speed your stock turbo they don't like seeing 40 psi all the time. I could pull 44 with mine and the hot +2 et on lv 6 but limit yourself to around 32 to 34 psi. Also how old is your Ppe standard box have you thought about sending it back to get upgraded to a hot + 2 et?

They are a nice little deal. I really like how they have a "race mode" toggle switch.
When the switch is off only WOT throttle will it alter boost. It will have the same stock boost levels untill the engine sees above 18 psi on its own... With the race mode on as soon as you touch the go pedal boost will be altered to what you set it on by a percentage. I have one for sale if your interested in a used one

Not very old. I just got it. I think I am going to wait until I get the tranny beefed up before I get the Hot+2.

I could probably live with a used one, it depends how much. I have to upgrade in small increments right now. Got a baby due in around a month. Pluss I am rebuilding my Chevelle right now as well. Gotta love multi tasking! :thumb:
