Like Kat said, we don't recommend this mod yet. Controller was DOA, and has a high failure rate. Blowing fuses or melting fusebox is common. Will not keep your engine cool in hot weather under load. Does not make advertised HP gain, perhaps 5 HP.

I bought a an electric fan kit through summit just for a duramax! Dual 15" fans supposed to push 6,000 CFM's! They are junk they melt wires blow fuses and do not keep the truck cool when its warm! Wasted $480.00! Keep the stock fan!

I had a 93 Stepside 1500 with an Arizona Speed & Marine injected 502. I tried electric fans in that without success. They were twin fans and the shrouding closed off more air than was enough to keep it cool. Thought maybe things had changed but doesn't sound like it. Thanks for the info all
