EGT Probe fitting too deep?

Drilled and tapped my manifold for my EGT probe last night and may have gone a touch too deep on the NPT tap. It can’t be more than an 1/8”-1/16” past flush into the manifold. I figure it was about flush before tightening and now just past. Is this an issue? Is it worth trying to grind down the end of the fitting to be flush when tightened. My only thought here is not being able to get the threads to grab if I don’t grind it off perfect.

It's fine. The probe sticks below the fitting. That small protrusion isn't going to make enough of a difference in airflow.
