Ok got the gauges in, and the EGT has power but is not working. Starts off at 100 degrees an stays there. I have changed probes, and checked all connections.

Anyone have any ideas why it is not working?

I've seen lots of probe issues with gauges, check your powers and grounds if your still ahving issues. Make sure the main gauge power doesn't get lost during the ignition cycle....this can freeze the gauge.:D

How will I know if this is happening?

Use a test light to check your power feed to the gauge. Make sure there is still B+ on the wire when you crank. Some ignition feeds can disappear when in crank, I've seen this make the gauge freeze...don't know why, but its somewhere to start. If it does go away try and pull power from somewhere else...;)

Where would you recommend pulling power from. I have had the power wire tapped into three different fuses. None seem to help it out.

Note: I am a newbie at this. So bear with me.

the easiest place to tap is the fuse panel next to the driver door. use a test light and find a fuse thats ignition only, and be sure its not a blinker fuse, I think they are in the middle right area of that block. What I did was solder a wire to the fuse, you can test for power after you solder the wire on easily. Once you get past this check your grounds, thats the next place that will give you trouble, make sure its tight. You sould have a power wire for the backlight and a power wire for the gauge as well.

I am going to spend tomorrow afternoon with an Ohm meter and see if I can't figure it out. I have one more probe I can try, too. Thanks for all the info.

Got these figured out a while back but forgot to post. Dale and Simon helped me figure out what I did wrong on FlashChat. Thanks Guys. I had added a longer section of prob wire to make it from the Drivers side to the passenger side, so it would not read because the gauage is calibrated for the length of cable it comes with. Like I said I am new to this. I pulled the line back threw and went down the passenger side. It is working great now.:D
