Is it better to leave an egr on or take it off? or is it better to just block the egr with a plate. i would like to know which one and why. and its for an 04.5 lly.

Plate is quick and easy

But it's nice to remove the cooler completely if you work on your truck
Also some coolers have had issues with leaking

U need a plaate for the egr motor and a lb7 up pipe or be able to weld

Delete the EGR if you can it costs more then the blocker but much better.

Blocker plate it until you got to pull your turbo or need to remove the egr for any reason. Plate does the job just fine.
