I got efi live for my truck and had them turn off the egr so I could delete it, which I haven't gotten around to yet. Yesterday I unplugged the egr motor to make sure it wouldn't throw a code. It didn't throw a code but the vanes read different then they used to. All tunes read about 70-80% at idea, now they read about 20% in everything but stock tune which is still the same as before. The motor sounds different at idea and it blows a lot less black smoke. Why would it change like that if it was supost to be off?
