EGR delete

Hey guys I just did an EGR delete on my LBZ duramax. Does anyone know what I am supposed to do with the red power wire that came from the stock intake heater grid? When batteries are connected it has power and sparks on any metal contact

Tape it and tuck it...I taped mine and have it coiled up nicely and tucked beside the fuse box and out of sight

Plan on using it as a lead to power a sub or sumthin someday...

Is it possible to just unhook it at the glow plug controller and remove the whole thing?

It's hot all the time. Shrink wrap it a few times and put black electrical tape on the end with the plastic tubing. That's what I did.

Remover the fuse box lid and cover, there is a big fuse at the back or the box on the firewall side. Remove the lead on the outer side at the fender and that will kill power to that lead. Takes literally 2 minutes to do. IIRC it's a 13mm.

Red shows the clips to remove the cover. Yellow shows the location of the wire you need to remove. It's just out of the shot of the picture. This is looking from drivers side over the fender.
