Any gains to be had with either a full delete with new pipe, or just the EGR delete and capped stock inlet pipe?

Currently I have it just blocked and the EGR system still in place.

Any HP/Mpg gains would most likely be gained from the new piping vs stock cast stuff, correct?

Our delete tube does add a little power, but likely only 10-15 hp. It does look better with all the stuff gone and makes things a little easier to get to.

The worst thing about just blocking it is that over time oil tends to settle in there. If you're lucky it leaks out and just keeps everything nasty looking. If it doesn't leak then in theory it could fill up and get sucked into the motor. That's not a good thing.

Yea I have been noticing the block off plate has been covered in oil lately.

What exactly is letting oil into the EGR cooler?

didn't notice much power gains. deleted it fully because it's better for the motor more than anything else. if you only have it blocked, also, the egr cooler can still go bad and then you are burning coolant which isn't really great for your motor.

Probably coming from the PCV. There is a lot of oil floating around in there. Even after doing away with the PCV I still had oil for a long time.
