I've heard this is possible, but how? My engine should be going back together hopefully sometime next week and i would like to not put the egr back in since its been blocked and disabled already.

You will need a federal riser pipe and you will need to make a plate to cover the holes where the motor went under your intake. Also a bracket to support your intake from the y-bridge. You can just remove the cooler and put a plate on the side where the cooler met the motor too. There are some people around here that make a new intake that has the egr delete and all you pretty much need is a federal riser pipe and a coolant line to bypass the egr cooler

Ted will have a lb7 up pipe for you and can take your intake riser in to a welder and either get a thin plate made or fill in the 2 holes on the bottom of the riser
also like Jason said you will need about 2-3' of 5/8s coolant hose
that is the cheapest way and you can always change it later
