Please READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

For Duramax, this release CONTAINS BBF Full flash for LS1B, LB7 and LLY(Note, LS1B and LB7 full flash is currently disabled. If you want/need to test either, please contact [email protected])

BBF Full Flash is needed for DSP file flashing for our AutoCal product.

I am confused about the full flash, it sounds like if we are running in dsp tunes we shouldn't use this update.

or is it only for flashing with the autocal?

when I put tunes into my truck I always do a full flash. sounds safer to me but I dont know the actual difference

You can still cal-flash the lb7 and lly, however bbf (black box flashing..which is standalone v2 without a labtop) requires a full flash for dsp5...so therefore it is worth updating to and will not change how you are used to flashing.

If you are unsure, or are not interested in running pre-release software after reading the warning messages, I suggest you wait for the public release scheduled for the next couple of weeks.
