For now, don't load this. Wait a couple days. It's not ready for Dmaxes yet.

When they get the Dmax part working, I will post.

Seems like most people are still several versions back anyway :cool2:, how many are using 7.5.3 right now anyway :)

i switched right in the middle of learning how to do the calc pid's.... and didn't know that none of the new files were shared (i guess i should have done some reading beforehand  ) now i got it all figured out and its working ok. the scan program is working better than the 7.4 version too.

Did you see that post Lennart made in Ben's thread? I still may be playing after all. I'll be loading the new version for sure. May stay away from using it though.

My understanding is that if we have version 7.5 loaded, then updates should be automatic now, unless you rush ahead and download the beta version.

Am I offtrack saying this, I could have sworn I saw that the new EFI would automatically update itself as they become available.

Dunno how they are handling updates with the beta. I have 2 tuning notebooks now, so I run beta on one and older on the other.

The blackbox logging is not working on the LLY/LBZ/LMM, dunno about the LB7, but I'd be surprised if it's ready. That is the major reason to update.

From reading the EFI Forum, none of the diesel stuff works yet. LB7 or LLY. On another scarier note, apparently, if you try to flash an LMM it will toast the ECM. There is a big warning about dont even try an LMM with it yet.

How did you toast it?

Not really sure Guy and i went over it for about 2 hrs and never got it to come back to life. it happened to me again the other day i was uploading a race tune i made and bam it locked me out and said the ECM was corrupt i then pulled out the stock tune and did a full system reflash and i havent toched EFI since. this program is really scaring me:eek:

But lets get back on topic again this thread got hijacked enough:sorry:

The key thing I'm looking for is someone else who has 1) successfully flashed an LB7 and 2) successfully BB logged an LB7. I figure as soon as that has been worked out, then I'll give it a try. Otherwise, its me and V7.4.

Hopefully, they will post the diesel fixes (any BB logging and the toasting of LMM's) soon.

I was a victim of the March 20th update my LMM is still at the dealer it's my fault though I jumped right on the beta program I was all over it like hobo on a hot dog. I've been trying to get them to just reflash the damn thing and they just want to put a new ecm in it. I'm supposed to get it back today I will post the outcome, has anybody sucessfully flashed an LMM on the March 26th update I'm pretty gunshy about using it but I already updated and there's no going back it's either wait month's for a stable update or take another chance.
