OK dumb question but what is the difference between the autocal and the flash scan tool what all do I need for my truck to run EFI live I have an 06 lbz

Also I found an autocal tool for 200 bucks but it has an lml tune on it could I get it and erase that tune and put one on for my lbz or would that tune work with mine?

The Autocal is linked to a V2/Flashscan and you would have to purchase the tunes from whoever owns the V2 that the Autocal is linked to (ask whoever owns its who the tuner is) and/or can be unlinked as some tuners will do so without cost BUT you need to send the unit to them. With the V2 you can make changes to your tune yourself but not suggested till you have some/a lot of experience. DieselPlace and DuramaxForum has a tons of good info as does the EFIlive.com website about unlinking. Take your time there are a lot of problems when you make mistakes when installing tunes and other performance add ons.
Hope this helps a little, I would suggest about six months of off and on reading BEFORE you purchase anything, your wallet will appreciate it, your transmission will last longer............
