Efi live suggestions

Hey guys. I have a 07 lbz. I got a code the other day saying P0401 EGR FLOW INSUFFICIENT DETECTED. I cleared it drove 4 hours from NC to MD and back for a trip and it did fine got on my way home from work yesterday and it threw the same code again. So I'm wanting to do an EGR delete but I have to have a EFI live for that and don't think I have e the money for it right now. Wondering about how much it would cost and suggestions on who to have do it. Thanks

Anybody who used one of these? He said I may be able to do a egr delet with this I stead of efi live he's not sure though.

Yes that's all you need. A blocker plate and fingerstick.

This. Removing it is a pain, makes it harder to pass smog if/when you have to, and doesn't offer any benefit besides cleaning up the engine bay on a race truck.

Again, just block it with the super cheap blocker plate. But yes, the fingerstick will stop it from throwing any codes. Down the road if you get EFILive and/or a tune from someone, tell them you have the EGR blocked and they will adjust the tune so you can remove the fingerstick (if you care).

So a egr delet and blocking it is the same thing one just leaves the spare parts there and the other removes them?
Done mean to sound stupid but this is my first diesel and I just wanna make it last.
