Where in WI are you? Efi tuning is simple 90% of the time. Just a few mouse clicks and your flashing. It's the tune writing that's mind numbing. My opinion is buy a V2 a dsp switch and some tunes. If the firmware was ready for lb7 and lly full flash for the auto cal I would say that's a cheeper option but it's gonna suck to have to hook up autocal every time you wanna change tunes.

Call Bobo...he is one of the best tuners out there. He was an original EFILive beta tester and was tuning trucks with EFILive years before most of these other "tuners" were.
Bob (Bo-Bo) is top notch he did my truck realy took his time the man is a wizard :thumb:

I've heard awesome results from people with bobo tunes. I run duramaxtuner tunes who is out of northern Illinois, they custom tune at Huckstorf diesel which is in WI. I love his tunes... Just another option.
Prices vary on what you want to do. You could just buy a custom tuned ecm (cheapest option ballpark $500ish) i'd check the tuners website's to confirm prices or contact them on the forums. Most all of them can get you near or above 500hp with stock motor. at that power level you'll be shortening engine life for sure...

I'd go with Tony (Ridgerunner). While me and Tony don't always see eye-to-eye, he's a good guy and I've never heard of anyone who wasn't delighted with his work. He's one of the most experienced tuners out there.
I'm not going to bad mouth Robert Olsen (bobo), but if I were shopping for tuning, I'd pick Tony. I actually like Bobo personally, but parts is parts.
