I've been following this forum a long time and there is a lot of knowledge here so I was hoping for some help. I built this tune for a good friend of mine and need some help with it. I am very new to efi live but we are generally very happy with the tune but have a couple minor issues. First off the exhaust brake. For whatever reason it comes on fairly slow and the vanes are opening every time the truck up shifts. Also the fuel economy sucks. If anyone would be willing to take a look at it and give me any advice on that or anything about the tune in general that would be awesome. I do plan to add a little boost when I have some more time. The truck is bone stock.

Thanks guys

Heh. Wouldn't you like to know
As far as the Turbo Brake Issue goes. You either need to bring up your minimum vane position in the 0mm3 rpm areas where you want the Turbo Brake to be active and/Or you need to go to the boost tables and over demand boost in the 0mm3 rpm areas that you want the brake to be active.

Either will achieve the same effect.

It opens during shifts because the Minimum is only set @ 2.5% and its only going to use as much vane position as necessary to build the demanded boost.

That will get you headed towards the right direction atleast.

You also need to add in quite a bit of timing to it in the cruise areas. You lowered the timing in the cruise areas which isn't going to help milage at all.

Thanks for the advice. It helps a lot. Roughly how much timing should I be shooting for in the cruising areas?
