hey guys im new to the site and was wondering if anyone could help me out with some Qabout efi for my truck?

i have a 03 2500hd Lb7 and was wantin to get efi pretty soon so i was just wonderin ho it works? like when i buy it do i get free tunes or do i have to buy them? and whats the ''license'' thing all about?

EFI Live comes with 2 VIN licenses pre-loaded on it with purchase - meaning that you can tune the engine and transmission of 2 vehicles with it straight out of the box. After you use those you can buy addition licenses for $99 if you want to tune more vehicles.

When you buy it from most vendors here (us included) you get a free tune for your truck. When you receive the unit we will walk you through downloading your stock tune, you email it to us, we write you the custom tune of your choice, email it back to you and walk you through loading it onto your truck. For your truck there are also the DSP2 and DSP5 switches available. You install one of those and then when we write and send you your custom tune is is a DSP2 or DSP5 tune. You will then have 2 or 5 tunes loaded on the truck and a switch to change between them on the fly. In the future if you add any modifications to your truck you let us know and we modify your tuning to get the full potential out of your combination of mods.

You are definately making the right choice by getting EFI Live.

yea sorry about that;), seriously there is nothing bad about your PPE I wish i kept mine.
