ok stupid ??? my buddy has a cummings an has been at me to try my hand at tuning it with efi live,well i just checked out the site an they now cover his truck 08 dodge 6.7..

so my ?? now is, what do i have to do, to my v2 to be able to flash & read his tune. thanks


ps any hints to tune a cummings would be nice also.

WTF is a "cummings" .... Your V2 needs a 400$ upgrade to be able to tune "cummings" engines

I don't know about the CUMMIN"g"S, but the CUMMINS update is $450 on there website(price went up late last year). Also if you have a black V2 bear in mind it will only do the 06+ CUMMINS, when the 03-05 release comes out you will need the newer blue V2 to do them. As for tuning them, head over to COMP D and EFILIVE's website and read away, theres even a few tunes out there for them as well.

My only hint for tuning most cummins to make the owners happy is find any fueling table and max it out :roflmao:

Much easier to tune than dmaxes...if u can tune a Dmax u can tune a cummins...bear in mind that timing them are a little different.
