I am planning on going with efi Live, I have edge juice with attitude now, looking for suggestions. I am new to efi live, I know i want the 5 position switch, I plan on a egr delete, and compounds down the road, 04 lly, Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure, I have been told the auto cal is the way to go. Can the 5 different tunes be done with just the pcm sent off? I was under the impresssion that the auto cal was needed for the 5 tunes .

You can send the ECM off or buy a pretended ECM and get a switch but the autocal is a better deal IMO. Or like above find someone with a v2 and you just need the license, switch and tunes and good to go. Overall the autocal is nice due to having your own tool to data log and read codes if problems come up
We have the autocals and also do pretuned ecm's. I'm also down the road from you so could always flash for you also.

Yes but the autocal is locked to the original tuner. So you can only use their tunes. Tunes are around $300 and license is $125 so your already $425 in the hole. You might as well just get an autocal from the tuner of your choice and be done.

I called the original tuner on my other truck and he said I could send the autocal back and he would erase his tunes and unlock it for $50
