LMM: EFi and Regen?

A buddy of mine just bought a 08 CC/SB LTZ dmax with 7000mile on it, hes been drivin it for almost a week now, it now has 7800miles (box stock miles)on it and the clean part. filter message came on this morning, How do you get these things to regen, It looks like efi can do it but i didnt have any luck getting it to work, the DIC says see owners manual but it just happens the truck didnt come with one?

ANy help would be greatly appriciated!

THank we tried that a little bit but there really isnt any roads around here to maintain that kinda speed for that long, I think i gotta talk him into surgery for the truck!!

i think you have to be doin over 55 iirc. efi should turn it on but it gets very hot just sitting there. it tells you to park it away from buildings, open the hood and other stupid stuff. so be careful

hah one of my buddys did his in town in his drive way and melted the neighbors siding when he told them they were dumb founded that his truck had melted the side of there house all i could do was laugh
