I am new to the forum. I bought a 2022 Silverado 3500 about 3 months ago. There are almost 17,000 miles on the clock. My question is if an Edge Pulsar V3 tuner will void my warranty. I called the manufacturer, and they assured me that it will not, because it does not replace the ECM, it only piggybacks to it. They claim that any changes are made within the tuner itself, so I can just remove it before service, and it'll be like it never happened. I have a buddy that owns an inspection garage, and he said they'll be able to tell with an OEM scan tool. Does anyone have any experience with this scenario?

I've heard reports of it effecting the regenerations and fuel used and the data they pull up can indicate the use of a fooler or piggyback device. But I think it's more of an experienced guess for a dealership to do that. I'm pretty sure more get away with it then not
