Edge Juice?

Okay so I'm fairly new to all this awesome power. Always looking for ways to upgrade. I installed the edge juice on my 05 awhile ago. Have about 60,000 miles on it and have not had a problem. I heard other people bashing the edge. Is it that bad of a product. Be gentle it's my first time.

Up until a month ago I had an edge on my Lb7 . I now have EFI and all I can say is its night and day difference . I have a Dsp 5 switch and even the low tow tune is stronger than the edge , better mileage , shifting and lower egts

More power and the fact that they had issues with the lb7 model and it shutting off the truck . customer service was very good tho and they sent me a brand new unit Version #12 iirc . I sold it cheap , essentially it was a brand new unit for half what they sell for new . as for a newbie in the diesel world I would say it was pretty decent cuz of the gauges and the safety features built in

Thanks, I'll look into an EFI. Sounds like that's what all most every one is running.
I only have about a year left to pay on my truck. After that the fun really starts.

keep in mind to buy from a reputable tuner . they will give you 1 or 2 good starter tunes .And once you have Efi , it will grow with you as your mods do

really, I need to read up on how this EFI thing works... Was there any problem installing it, or does it install the same way the Edge does? Sorry for sounding like an idiot, but.... I am when it comes to this.

the edge is a chip , meaning you plug it in between your wiring harness. Efi is a tune , meaning you upload your stock tune using the Efi hand held part plugged into your truck and then into your laptop .after you have a copy of your stock tune , its then modified and then re flashed into your truck . the nice part is you have an LLY so you can also get (but dont have to )whats called a DSP switch ( 2 or 5 position) that will have either 2 or 5 change on the fly tunes available kinda like the edge . with Efi you will need some gauges . If you go to efilive.com you can download the free software to check it out , but it will only be a demo until you buy and register efi .

gauges are another 2-3 hundred depending on the gauge you choose and mount. worth every penny though.
