heres my dilemma,

My stock turbo is on the way out so I ordered a 366 and all the install stuff.
I run an insight as gauges and the module and stuff to run a high pressure sensor with the edge is going to be about 3 weeks.

I know the stock sensor max reading is 24psi, is it going to be ok to run with my gauge this way for the time being or should I try and hold out on the install untill I get the pressure sensor?

or just keep the boost down by easing into the throttle (might be hard)

also where does the sensor for the edge get tapped into?

Thanks

The stock sensor will actually read closer to 35 psi.

My HTT was gated at about 45 psi, but I do not know how your S366 is setup. It will also depend on the tuning (fueling) that you use.

FWIW, the truck will really not care what the stock sensor says if you run over pressure (you may get an overboost code, but that needs to be disabled in the tuning).

When I first set up my truck, I used a Super Diesel boost manifold ( http://www.socaldiesel.com/S-D manifolds.htm ). What I did later was to tap the top of the y-bridge directly for the boost reading.

trent is doing turbo and tuning, dual fuelers going in at same time. y bridge sounds like good idea for sensor. I have never seen over 24 on my stock sensor and heard the same from many others, either way gonna want sensor,

Taylor do you plant to use the Insight to switch your tunes ? if so I need to set the tune up for it , if not I will set it to hardwired for a normal switch , as far as the turbo and insight , it wont matter you should be fine , if your concerned just stay in the # 3 and lower tunes till it shows .

ok I will just stay in the lower tunes, I can switch it to serial switching no big deal, I can do some stuff with efi live but I leave the tuning to the pros, for now.

I never asked what power I am going to push with these tunes when the turbo arrives?
did you include a good safe tow tune? what number?
