So I have three questions but they all kind of go together...I am getting ready to start ordering parts for the build next week and I wanna make sure everything goes smooth.
1. First off, I am running a PPE Hot x2 e.t. and it will not flash back to stock.. I let a buddy of mine borrow my truck one time and he must have attempted to switch tunes with the PPE and now I am stuck in level 3.. The question is, when I make the switch to EFI live will I have to take my truck to GM and have it flashed to stock before? or is there another way to get around this such as sending my ECM to whoever I buy my EFI from to Flash it and then send me an Autocal with DPS5?
2. I swear that I read somewhere that you can't use an Edge CTS or CS with a LB7 ZF-6 truck to switch tunes on EFILive. Is there any truth behind this? I need gauges and I thought that would be a cost effective route to take.
3. Does anyone know of a company that rebuilds or sells reman gauge clusters for ZF-6 truck? I can find them all day for autos but not for manuals.
I appreciate the help in advance, I'm sure that these are the first of many questions on this build journey!
