Edge Insight CTS DSP5 help

Ok so I have EFI live and just bought an Edge Insight CTS to use as my DSP5 switch. I wrote the tune and made sure it is in serial not hardwired and I did a "full reflash" and everything went smooth truck starts and drives great but I can't change my tunes! I hit the up or down arrow on the CTS and nothing happens I am still in "power level 1" what did I do wrong? Is it possibly my switch voltage?

Yeah I was running a DSP2 switch before but everyone was saying that the Edge CTS was the way to go with DSP5 so I bought, I love the EFI Live and the Edge CTS but when i wrote my own tune they didn't work. I am still kind of new to writing tunes.

Yes I am a diesel mechanic in the Marine Corps, but we don't use EFI Live on our trucks haha

Did you go into the menu on the cts and turn it on?
You have to turn it on in the cts menu and change to serial on your efi tune.

Think you forgot to turn it on in the menu. If not make sure the OS is correct. I had an Lly that would not work with the cts because of a different os dsp tunes

If your EFI Live DSP5 OS is an old one you converted to a DSP5 tune more than a year ago, the operating system will not allow serial switching. It's an easy fix. Update your stock tune to a DSP5 OS using the current release of EFI Live and copy your tune over to the new one you just created. Be sure tune is set to serial switching and EFI option is set to enable in CTS. IMPORTANT: the OS # will not change. There will be no way to tell the tunes apart from the old one you had, so delete the old one and clearly label the new one as the new one!!:thumb:

Ok so it appears that the issue I have run into is turning it on in the CTS. I did not know that I had to do that. Thanks I will go do it now and let you all know how it goes.

Ok that was it!!! I guess it shows that I hadn't played with my CTS enough cause I never saw the "EFI Live:Off/On" in the options till just now haha. Thanks again everyone.
