Edge CTS MPG PID

I just got my CTS installed and love it so far. My question is whether the mpg on the Edge is the same as what would be reported on the information display and if it can be calibrated. The reason I ask is that it is reading about 24mpg which seems way high. I installed 4" straight exhaust at the same time and a 6mpg increase on factory tuning is not realistic.

I would hand calculate the mpg if you want accurate, then compare to your cts and dic

Yea I wouldnt trust the dic and cts 100% hand calc is gonna be your best bet and the other 2 are just ball parks!

I do not have the programmer just the gauges. I plan to get efi live and change programs with the cts. I have a lower trim package without the dic so I can compare the cts to anything. I have the mileage app on my phone so I will check it at the next couple fill ups. I wish that this would have been more accurate or adjustable.

My dic on mine is almost dead on for some reason. On my old LB7 it was full of crap.

My CTS is around 2/10ths off as compared to hand calculated. I've only been using this PID for the last 2 months and I fill all the way to the top every fill up.

I found where you can manually enter the actual mpg and it seems to adjust it much closer.
