Edge cts efi dsp 5 for lbz?

So i loaded my dsp tune and looked in my cts and the edi option is gone and then i remembered the issues with the lbz ecm and dsp. Am i correct in assuming i cant control my dsp through the cts?

Correct only lb7/lly ecm's can switch tunes via the CTS.

Correct. You'll have to wire in a regular DSP5 switch.

I know this is a old thread but I would like some clarification, If I have a LB7 that I would like to install my dsp5 tunes in a EDGE CTS the 1st thing is I would have to change the tunes from hard wired to serial correct? Then is the next step to load the tunes directly to my ECM and then hook up the EDGE and the tunes should work from there or is there another step involved that I am missing.

Yes, change to serial and than there should be an option in the CTS to turn Efilive on.

ok I got that but just to be clear, I load the EFI Tune into the ECM then I can plug in the edge cts then turn EFI on
