Help: ECM maybe?

I thought I might have a short in the ECM because I blow the ECM B fuse every time I connect C1 to the ECM. So I tried the ECM in my buddy's 02, started right up. weird thing is, when C1 is unplugged, the fuse is fine. All grounds are properly wired/soldered/matched. I thought, ok, maybe it's because the Class 2 wires are in C1 and I have a Class 2 short (airbag module went bad from sitting I guess) so I unplugged the Airbag module and tried again, and it still popped the fuse.

Any ideas?

I am pretty confident that i didnt mess up the battery positive voltage wires in my harness, but ill check in a couple hours. the 3 main grounds tying the tcm and ecm together are correct but could the extended length cause the fuse to blow? I bumped up the wire size too.

have you checked with a dmm to make sure that circuit is not shorted?

Only 2 things cause a fuse to blow, to much current load/draw on the circuit the fuse is protecting,or a dead short to ground somewhere in the circuit.

Ended up being my mistake, I had swapped c1 and c2. My tcm and airbag module were shorted though
