Yesterday I was hauling a trailer, about (4000 pounds) and after about 30-35 minutes running at 70 MPH the truck lost almost all power. Finally limped it to the job sight and and shut it off. I had to hold 4th gear at 55 MPH to have some power. Everything was fine on all the gauges except for oil temp and pryo, both were about normal, but there was not smokeing, it would build some boost and rail pressure was fine. There were no codes or check engine light. Then 3 hour later with the same load I try to make it back home and the truck ran fine and has since.
I don't know if it defueled or what happened, and i was scared that i had lost a engine. I know that i need to replace a injector soon, balance rate for number 6 is 6-7 and has been that way since the injector was brand new. Normally my truck is a little sluggish, but sometimes it decides it wants to be a race truck and will run great but this is every now and then. Can anyone help with the basics of what hard parts that would effect the ECM in to making the truck run diffrent.

Okay, I just noticed something that is odd, my IATM is way off, it's reading between 10 and 20 degrees. Will this reading mess up the tuning?
I am going to try to test for boost leak tomorrow if I get some time. Anything thing else I should check that might be creating havoc?
