ECLB to ECSB conversion?

just wondering if anyone has tried it I'm thinking I might want to do this to my truck and just wondering what kind of pitfalls I would run into.

I see that I would need to switch to a 26 gallon tank and move the spring mounts forward quite a bit (really need to look and the hangers on a shortbox) and move some crossmembers and possibly some of the bed mounts.

We just shortboxed my bosses single cab long bed 6.4. Wasn't too involved, he just bought a short bed

My biggest wonder is the front spring mounts. But it appears there are different parts for the shortbed trucks.

Can't you just section the frame then relocate the hanger? Cut the rivets and then mark where it lines up?

From looking at it the front hanger won't fit when you move a foot and a half forward. I need to check if I can get them from GM when I get to work today.
