My brakes just suck! My old brakes were shot all the way around, so I put EBC Yellow stuff on the front with dimpled rotors and EBC greenstuff on the back with their regular rotors, I even brought them to the dealership to have them bled through the ABS with a tech 2. They still feel sloppy and dont work that great and ideas???

i had the same problem when my hydro boost was bad , and had the same brake parts also , once the new hyroboost was on they worked really well .

did you replace the sliders and slide bolts? Did you grease everything VERY well and file down the ears of the pads so they move completely freely on the sliders?

I have that same brake setup (ebc yellow fronts/green rears, slotted/dimpled EBC rotors) and ive also noticed that they definetly need to have some heat in them before they start "biting" nicely and working well. If my pedal is kinda mushy and the brake action isnt "sharp" I just do 1 or 2 max effort panic stops from ~40mph or so and then the pedal firms right up and the brakes work awesome.

I went over everything when I replaced them, but that was a winter ago, so maybe everything just isnt working like it should anymore. I'll clean them up and put new sliders in and see what happens. If that doesnt work I'll change the hydro boost. Trent did yours throw a code or anything when it went bad?
